Soichiro Murata is Director of Corporate Transformation at SAP Japan, where he accompanies clients' corporate transformation from a management perspective, not from an IT perspective. He is also well versed in overseas case studies and has given numerous lectures and written numerous articles. He is the author of "Why White Collar Productivity is Low: Japanese BPR 2.0" and "Why Digital Matters? He is also an external director of Hakusan Industries, Inc. He holds an MBA from Rice University in the United States.

After studying at a U.S. university, he worked for a major semiconductor company and an overseas financial institution, then engaged in European tax strategy consulting and developed European tax-related solutions in Japan. He has provided tax advice to many government agencies and major companies.
